$400 Off the Paris Workshop {2010}

400-off-contest
400-off-deets1
So, Paris workshop attendees… just send us your three photos, and you’ll be entered to win!! Here are a few examples that Ashley put together for you (obviously your photos can be more abstract, don’t have to be quite so literal… also your shots do NOT need to all be self-portraits… only the FIRST shot, the “Diva” shot, needs to have you somewhere in there!) Have fun, and good luck! We can’t wait to see all the entries! :)

Lacy - The posebook, it has definitely opened my eyes to both awesome shots and some amazing lighting. Thanks ladies! Your cover image of the posebook actually shows part of the fake eyelashes coming off...while others would scoff I took it as a great gift...reality...the reality is that sometimes eyelashes come off, stockings run, and not every shoot goes as planned... instead of selling my clients "perfection" in their shoot, I've changed my approach to selling those imperfect realities that make life worthwhile. "I'm sure he loves that mole" I say, I want my clients to feel beautiful as they are, and see themselves the way he sees her, gorgeous. The greatest product The Diva's can offer, inspiration, motivation, and realization. PS that doesnt mean I cut out ALL the airburshing...lolFebruary 17, 2010 - 12:56 pm

Leeann Marie - I would L-O-V-E a copy of your Pose Book! I think it could really help out in situations where I'm stuck on a pose! Too much "lay on the bed with your hair to the side" poses for boudoir! I need a creativity boost! xoxoFebruary 17, 2010 - 1:13 pm

Lisa - We love your pose book! Almost every client we have gets to try out the Nora pose - it is so versatile! And it really helps to start off there to get the clients comfortable as you can take so many shots from different angles without having the client move around a lot. We have the bundle and CD as well and they are all great additions to our marketing materials! Thanks so much!February 17, 2010 - 2:41 pm

leann neal - I bought the Bundle package and I begin to describe how much this helped my business! I also went to the workshop in Paris in 2009. That is a once in a life time event that every boudoir photographer HAS TO ATTEND! The information shared by the divas will help everyone no matter what stage ur business is in. Thank you guys for everything. I appriciate you all!February 17, 2010 - 2:47 pm

Emily Rose - Haven't purchased anything, yet! Would love to buy the Posebook, I haven't photographed Boudior and would LOVE to start/try and that would be a great help! So something you should offer...maybe some online classes, with Skype or whatnot- photographers could pay (or not) and it would be like an 'online workshop'. Or just have some pre-recorded tutorials on a business website! If you don't already, I think I better go look. ;) Thanks girls!!!February 17, 2010 - 2:55 pm

Lynette - I purchased the bad ass training guide and the pose book. The training guide was a great starting point for me to add boudoir to my studio. The posebook i use sometimes before a session to refresh my mind or to get me started when i feel stumped...i study the posing and also the light angle in the photo. The posebook allowed me to later recieve the pose book video and that really helped me because i could follow along and pose myself so that I could better pose my clients....the addition was a great asset to the pose bookFebruary 17, 2010 - 3:09 pm

Lynette - I forgot...i purchased the bundle with the training guide...i still use a lot of the products/templates in that package especially the actions for post production...the album templates are great too..February 17, 2010 - 3:11 pm

Lynette - my email address is SilkElegance@Lbradshawphotography.comFebruary 17, 2010 - 3:11 pm

Janet Kaufman - I have both books, and the disk with all the marketing material, the VIP info and the Salon stuff and have attended a workshop in San Diego a few years ago ! The books have helped me with alot, but the workshop was invaluable ! I was able to walk out the door with a full portfolio to start my business.February 17, 2010 - 3:34 pm

Deborah Zoe - I've purchased the boudior actions and I looove them! Makes my job so much easier when I can just hit click and get a soft, beautiful look for my photographs! Thanks so much guys, you rock!February 17, 2010 - 4:00 pm

Sarah - Purchased the whole sha-bang, and I must say.... LOVE IT!! You ladies are fan-stinkin-tastic!!!!! The posebook is wonderful to have by your side as a reference. Thanks :)February 17, 2010 - 4:05 pm

Agi Magyar - I've purchased the Perfect Boudoir Action and I absolutely LOVELOVELOVE it! I even used it on an image of a baby elephant from my Thailand holiday... It worked wonders! :)) On a serious note: retouching the images from my first ever boudoir shoot and having this action to save me time and make the image its best was GREAT help! If I could I would buy everything from the shop and they are all on my shopping list :) Love from Australia!February 17, 2010 - 4:22 pm

Tabitha McCausland - I got your Bad Ass training guide!!! It rocks my world and brought my level of Boudoir up a notch BAM (in my best Emeril Lagasse voice)! Love you gals!!February 17, 2010 - 4:42 pm

christine.s - pose book is on the way;) i would love for there to be a online workshop maybe or some kinda of digital media with marketing info-- watching a shoot in detailFebruary 17, 2010 - 5:50 pm

Gabby O. - While I have not purchased anything from the Divas...YET...(I have my eye on quite a few things!!) I would LOOOOVE for the Divas to do a work shop in Pennsylvania! Preferably Pittsburgh or State College, but Harrisburg or Philly would be ok too!February 17, 2010 - 5:56 pm

Claudia - I purchased the bad ass book and I know how good is it, so I know your products actually work.! -- What I would like for you to sell is a dvd of how you sell to a real client and the shooting will be a plus ;) --- OR how about a dvd of the whole day from your workshop... (without music) :) -- for us who can't attend to the workshop ;)February 17, 2010 - 6:00 pm

Kate Kelava - I purchased the Workshop in a Book and the Posebook, AND I went to the SD workshop--I am filled with Diva knowledge! The Workshop in a Book is my boudoir bible; I refer to it ALL the time and am so glad to have it.February 17, 2010 - 9:32 pm

Jamie - I purchased the workshop in a book and it was a great way to look at what we were already doing in our boudoir business and incorporate some new ideas & sets. It's a great all in one book to what you need to do boudoir!February 18, 2010 - 6:59 am

Leilani - I purchased the Workshop in a book and the Tres Tres Chic Album templates. I love all the products and I'm really thinking about getting the pose book! However, living in such a small town in Michigan--it's hard to find boudoir clients :( But I know that if I keep practicing and marketing, the ladies will come! Divas Rock!!February 18, 2010 - 8:12 am

Chelsea McGowan - Your lighting is what keeps me coming back more and more, so I'd love to see resources specifically on the technical aspects of the lighting you use in-studio. I'm confident in my posing and making my clients feel like rock stars, but I could still learn a LOT from you as far as lighting... and I'd love to! Great contest, ladies. I've got my fingers crossed. ;)February 18, 2010 - 8:49 am

Jami Sullivan - Hello! I have wanted to take that step into boudoir photography, but I am not exactly sure how to go about getting started. So With that said I would have to have one of everything. My favs being the pose book and the action. I always love getting new actions. Your prices are amazing! These days people tend to jack there prices up astronomically which always leads me to shop around. There is no need with your prices. Thank you!February 18, 2010 - 9:10 am

Tessa Rice - I would love it if you guys could film and/or offer a video series of your workshops for those of us not able to travel very much.... That would be something I would totally love! :)February 18, 2010 - 2:14 pm

Sarah - I think I've purchased just about everything in the Boudoir Shop! By far, my favorite is The Workshop in a Book (aka The Boudoir Bible as it is known around the studio). I knew I wanted to shoot boudoir but know idea even where to begin! In the past 3 months, I've opened a boudoir studio and had clients gushing about what an amazing service it is! The Workshop in a Book is by far the best purchase I've made and after showing it to some of my conservative family members, I've now got their 100% support for my business!February 18, 2010 - 4:25 pm

Erica Velasco - The Pose book! It is an absolute must! It's great to get ideas from when you are at a shoot and you go blank! I use it all the time for inspiration when I'm stuck or when I'm prepping for a shoot to get into the mood! It's the best ever!February 18, 2010 - 6:13 pm

Claire Reynolds - I purchased the Pose Book & Workshop In A Book @ Imaging USA and then came home and had to have the digital bundle. They help me channel my inner diva when I use them :) And my workflow has improved like whoa (sorry, I've been listening to My Love Is Like Whoa and I'm still stuck on it).February 18, 2010 - 8:28 pm

Kristen Mallory - I LOVE the Workshop in a Book product. The lighting tips have RADICALLY changed the way my images look and I'm totally in love with the results! My clients feel so gorgeous when they see their image on the back of my camera and it's in large part due to great lighting..thanks Boudoir Divas!February 18, 2010 - 9:01 pm

Feuza - Hello Divas, have known about your work very recently so have not purchased anything and also have never done a boudoir session, not yet, looking forward to learning more here.February 18, 2010 - 9:55 pm

Michelle H - I would LOVE to see you create your own backdrops or set to create your similar backgrounds/backdrops! OMG that would be awesome! I can totally picture PINK & BLACK, etc! :)February 18, 2010 - 10:49 pm

Jessica Swatts - I just purchased my first boudoir diva product, The Perfect Boudoir Action, a few weeks ago and I cannot even begin to tell you how AWESOME it is! It has cut down my processing time dramatically and just works so perfect on every photo! I LOVE it! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Divas!February 19, 2010 - 6:51 am

Kimberlee- you helped me with my first "big girl" lens purchase a year ago and my pictures have never been the same! (my love 85mm 1.8.. *sigh*) THANK YOU BOTH FOR BEING TRUE TO YOURSELVES AND HELPS ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS!!! P.s. Dear Random Machine, Please pick me. Ok? Thanks.February 19, 2010 - 1:14 pm

Katie - I have bought almost all the products and I love them! When I first started doing boudoir I was researching how to get started and stumbled across you guys when I was looking on KISS's website. Your workshop book helped me get started with the info I needed. I use the perfect boudoir action as well to airbrush. I have tried other airbrush plugins but thought yours worked really well and love the control of it. Thanks!! =)February 19, 2010 - 2:06 pm

A Szabo - In the last year I have purchased the pose book, workshop in a book, and boudoir actions from you. ALL of them have helped me tremendously. The books inspire me and really help me prepare for all of my boudoir sessions. Whenever I need a boost I turn to the books to help me out of a rut or inspiration. The action has made my processing time cut in half and produced images that I have always wanted. I am so grateful for your services.February 19, 2010 - 6:44 pm

KarenW - I've purchased the Perfect Boudoir Action and love it! Such a compliment to give images that extra "umph!" Love the album template, and would love to see more.February 19, 2010 - 8:43 pm

Nicole - The Workshop in a Book is amazing. I can't count the amount of times I have read each page. And with every reading I find something new to try. I would love to have the Posebook, it had been on my wants-list for awhile. Hmm maybe this time... And of course, if you wanted to give away a spot at a workshop I wouldn't turn it down! Smile! A girl can dream.February 20, 2010 - 7:58 pm
