The Boudoir Divas can’t wait to attend Imaging USA in Nashville from January 10-12, 2010. What’s even more exciting for us is that we get to SPEAK at our very own boudoir educational session! Our program is going to focus on how we were able to replace our Saturday wedding income with a “Pin-Up Party” on Friday. Come learn as we demonstrate a boudoir shoot with a model, showing some favorite poses that are perfect for all body types and discuss some of our favorite and most successful marketing techniques! We hope you will join us!

I can’t tell you just how much we loooove these Pin-Up Parties™! We have been doing them for about three years now and I really feel like we just barely perfected them. So much detail goes into executing these bad boys, but I just adore that we get to come together as a team, with all of us working hard and tag teaming shooting, processing and viewing all in one day.

What is a Pin-Up Party™ you might ask? Well, a Pin-Up Party™ is the perfect bachelorette party or birthday party. It allows girlfriends to get together and totally pamper themselves for a day with a unique experience. We take turns photographing each girl in a “mini” boudoir session, then process their photos and give them each viewing on the same day! Not only are sales stellar because the girls are pushing each other to get more photos, but as a studio we can accomplish up to ten shoots in one day, making the same profit that Marissa used to on a wedding on Saturday, except that the parties are still during the week and Marissa now enjoys weekends off. Yay!

At our boudoir workshops we will be giving the full scoop on how we make a Pin-Up Party™ run smoothly while keeping profits high. Hey, hey, hey everyone out there in internet land, which Kimberlee and I refer to as “Nerverland” in our conversations! Okay, so I’m not here as early as K in her vid, but it is Monday and I am ready to rumble so that is a big feat considering the whole “Monday” thing. Although, I must say I watched the video after recording it and MAN, what a banana! How many times can a person say “ppppin-up party” in row. It’s like my p’s are popping gum noises. Am I always that oblivious? Anywho, here it is all the same…..

We have always offered these types of parties for our clients, but it wasn’t until recently that we launched the marketing full force. I think that this type of party could be a full time biz all in it’s own if a photographer wanted to go in a focused direction.
