No The Boudoir Divas aren’t parting ways. But we won’t be quite as attached at the hip anymore….
As our friends and fellow photogs who read our blog know, Kimberlee and I, Marissa, have been attached at the hip in business and friendship these past two years. Between upwards of 25 texts, 25 emails and 5 phone calls per day, plus at times sharing an office, you can see that the term “friend” doesn’t quite encompass what she means to me.
Tomorrow early in the morning she leaves in her stuffed little car to drive across the country to do a few month living stint with her family to experience Texas life and then after that onto Nashville to pursue boudoir there. She has been such an asset to the growth of Woman Captured, but after staying an extra year at Woman Captured to help perfect it and co-write our book together, she is off to start her boudoir empire.
I am sure she and I will still be seeing each other quite a bit, I mean DWF is just in a couple of weeks, the Camera Cruise in the Caribbean, and then there is WPPI right after that and not to mention our Paris Workshop, our 3 week road trip across Europe, and our possible month in Thailand, but hey, not seeing her almost everyday is going to be very hard on me. But K-dog I wish you all the best and I know that you will be super successful with your own boudoir venture.
